There’s something about eShakti that makes me so, so glad to have added them to my plus-size closet: their very attractive price point mixed in with their high quality. Okay, that was two “somethings,” but I’m being serious– this company is a cut above the rest. Each item is handcrafted, handstitched, or at least handworked in one way or another, and you can get 100% silk tops for $70 and below. This eShakti Embroidered Dress has caught me at a vulnerable moment. Here I am, running around the country having a blast, and then I find all of these innocent pieces with embroidery and even ruffle trim. That’s it; I’m a convert of these cute pieces and I can’t go back!

I can’t believe that I just learned about this now. . . it’s called eShakti, and it’s a similar scheme to the Etsy designed pieces, but it’s much better organized. This cotton top was one of my very favorites, with a pleated front and interesting, crafty medallions that run along both the neck and hem. Standard sizing will cost you less, and is available up to 3X. Considering the level of coolness of this particular piece $44.95 seems very low indeed. Yay!
