Etsy Weekend: Solid Perfumes

I love the short-brimmed styles that fit close and low and look like a cross between a cloche and a newsboy.  Shes uses vintage-looking wood buttons and elastic linings that provide a comfortable snug fit.  These hats will be fabulous this Fall with a casual style.

Ode to the Pendant

It’s called the Muriel ($166) and the leather is light-weight and features a cool distressed look.  You can carry this bag on your arm as a satchel or use the detachable shoulder strap and wear it like a messenger bag. It’s always nice to get a bag that gives you options. Versatility is something all bags should have whether it be by it’s looks or the overall structure.

The interior of this bag has a pretty green and white printed vintage fabric. The green and white lining offsets the mauvey purple so well!  The bag closes securely with two magnetic clasps and you can fit just about anything in the 13W  x 14L x 8D size. I’d use this bag with casual and work appropriate outfits, used as an accent piece or ‘pop of colour’.  The Are by CDesign Muriel is such a stylish bag, fantastic to use every day and stylish enough for everyone to wonder if it’s a high-end designer piece.

Mauve Muriel Satchel by ArebyCDesign

I’m a sucker for unusual floral purses, and this leather clutch purse is right up my alley!  It’s handmade in Estonia by indie designer EightSeaons:

The “Lavish Summer Blossoms” clutch purse is handmade using cream-colored leather, link with silk.  The blossoms are created with the same leather as the body of the purse, but they’ve been formed and rolled to make soft flowers.  To top it off, the flowers are attached using brass studs to provide a hint of tougher style – a perfect foil for the elegant blossoms.

EightSeasons is quite a new seller on Etsy, but their shop is filled with so many interesting purse designs that I think they’re going to take off in a big way!

This Croc Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag by designer EKAA ($88) is something that looks as if it belongs on the pages of your favourite fashion magazines. The colour alone is gorgeous, it’s a lovely shade of yellow-green and the croc embossed print leather lends a bit of fun to an otherwise simple bag. The green is complimented by polished nickle hardware. This bag even comes with a detachable strap so you can use it as a cross body bag!  It’s great when bags are versatile.  If you’re not a fan of the green, it’s also available in a lovely orange shade.

This is such a knock out bag and the price point is fantastic. Check out all the other bags EKAA has to offer on their Etsy store front; their selection won’t disappoint!
