Eugenia Kim designs beautiful handmade luxury hats that are unique and fashionable, but also extremely wearable.  While a lot of famous hat designers create exaggerated statement pieces that might only look good on Lady Gaga, Eugenia Kim’s designs fit into the lifestyle of a real woman.

EEK! by Eugenia Kim Squirrel Tam $38

This is just the cutest and coziest tam ever!  Oversized fluffy tams are one of my favorite hats styles for Fall, and I love the large scale whimsical pattern.

This super soft large knit beanie comes in red, navy, or charcoal.  It has a puffy knit bow that can be worn on the side of the head.

The cloche is still stylish this year, and there are lots of fun variations on the simple black cloche.  This one has a unique metallic starburst detail attached to a leather band.

Eugenia Kim Hailey Headband in Coral $49.50 (reg. $99)

I have been eyeing this knotted silk headband since I first spotted a similar style on Gossip Girl last season.  It has multiple soft strands gathered and braided to create a beautiful piece in coral.  There is a thick elastic band at the bottom for a comfortable fit.

I also love this option on sale with a combination of patterned white and black with solid red silk strands.  These soft headbands look great with soft curls and a dressy look.  This season Eugenia Kim will release updates to this knotted Hailey style in new fabrics and colors.

Eek! by Eugenia Kim Heart Cloche $48

Even though the cloche was a huge hit last Fall/Winter, it’s still my favorite hat for Fall/Winter 2009.  This vintage 20’s-inspired felt cloche in a creamy ivory has a black leather band with an abstract gathered leather heart.  It also comes in navy.

Eek! by Eugenia Kim Animal Cloche $48

Here is another lovely felted wool cloche with subtle detailing on the brim.  The camel hat is paired with a thin leopard-print hatband with an antiqued gold clasp and chain.  There is also a black hat with a zebra-print hatband.

I love this fluffy super soft knit beret with oversized cables and an adorable belt pattern stitched along the edge.  These floppy-style berets will also be extremely popular this Fall.  The grey with purple is my favorite color combo, but it also comes in creme with grey, and aqua with grey.

Eek! by Eugenia Kim Headband $28

The Eek! line will also feature hair accessories.  This was the first piece that was released online, but I will post more as soon as they are available!  This is a beautiful silky wide headband with an asymmetrical navy bow.

Eugenia Kim says that she named the line Eek! because she loves mice!  She says that they are “neurotic, high energy, furtively looking around a lot, and very stimulated.”  It will be interesting to see how she incorporates that concept into her pieces…

Eugenia Kim Eek! for Urban Outfitters

The asymmetrical fedora has a distinct fold up on one side balanced with a slant down on the other.  I would definitely say that this style has attitude!

Cameron Diaz in Asymmetrical Straw Fedora

This woven fedora features a braided trim and a tan colored leather buckle along the brim of the hat. The crown measures about 4 inches in depth with a quilted brim measuring approximately 1.5 inches in width.  The Rianna Fedora isn’t busy or wild, so it should be really easy to match it up with just about anything. Especially a really cute skirt or a nice pair of jeans.

Pretty Blue Eugenia Kim Fedora

The hat is highlighted by a thin brown leather strap and buckle along the brim, which I think makes it really charming and appealing. It’s mostly made of wool but also contains some Rayon and sateen lining. Though, the brown color is really nice, you might also like the one that comes in camel. Both are available at BlueFly.com for a price of $126.
