Stock Up For Next Season’s Classic Shoes

I tend to talk a lot about the fun trends in accessories and shoes that come and go through the seasons, but I’ve got a different kind of suggestion today.

While we’re all gearing up for fall and winter trends, summer shoes are on sale right now. In fact, you can find some great designer shoes that have been heavily discounted.

While I wouldn’t recommend stocking up on trends from last spring or summer, why not save some money and get some classic shoes?

Classic shoes are the ones that you can wear for more than one season. They’re a timeless style or color and can work with a lot of different clothes.

How about the black pump? It’s a timeless wardrobe staple – so why not get a fabulous pair on sale?

I am constantly on the lookout for special event shoes that are able to transcend the one-use-only arena and actually make it into my regular (or at least semi-regular) wardrobe rotation. TheseÂ Christian Louboutin Peplum T-bar Sandals definitely fit the bill. I love their delicate, 1940’s styling, and the contrast between the soft black suede and the metallic gold appliquÃ©s. They would be gorgeous with either a black or gold dress, or almost anything with vintage deco styling. With a retail price of $895 at Net-A-Porter, they aren’t exactly reasonably priced, but they are on the somewhat feasible side of designer prices.
