Over the past couple of months I’ve featured exotic bags that are made from various other animal skins other than well, leather. Another ‘trend’ to say in exotic skin handbags is python. There are quite a few python skin bags available. Just doing a search on the Bergdorf Goodman website yielded more than a page of them! Some of these bags are faux, painted or embossed but some of them are actually real python.

I love handbags that are simple, classic looking and non-logoed. Admittedly, that can get a little redundant and maybe a tad bit boring, but that’s where different textures, colours and finishes come in. I can appreciate a beautifully done python, crocodile or alligator handbags but what really intrigues me are handbags made out of eels. Yes, eels. It’s like a new frontier in handbag materials!
