This year for Mother’s Day, I think I’ll treat her to a new Aveda product that I know (okay, I’m pretty sure) she hasn’t tried before. The Green Science Kit is a 4 step system to smooth out and lift skin so it always looks healthy and radiant.

So what do you do about them?

First get some sleep and take a hard look at your diet. Evaluate if you are spending too much time in front of the computer and note if drinking more water makes a difference. At a certain point, you might just have to make piece with your eye circles and understand that though they might become less noticeable with care, if you have several family members who also have dark eye circles, this may just be one of the little quirks you inherited.

Of course, there are also dozens upon dozens of products on the market you could check out as well. Whether they are going to make a difference is debatable. And still very much dependent on whether or not you take the extra steps to correct any other imbalances in your life or diet.

At the very least, you should take a look at the different eye creams on the market to treat the delicate skin under your eyes to some extra love and care. I love Korres Evening Primerose Eye Cream ($34) but have also used Philosophy’s Dark Shadows ($33) in the past and found it worked quite well too.
