Fringes & Feathers for Fall

It looks like two of the summer’s hottest trends are going to be following us into the fall season.
Fringes have been around for a couple of seasons now, but I love Prada’s unique take on them:

Their black Nappa leather ankle boot is accented with a short line of studded fringe.  I have to admit – I’m not a big fan of fringed shoes that look like you’ve suddenly grown fur, but this short fringe adds a fun detail to these restrained ankle boots.
Feathers aren’t as common as fringes, but it’s shown up in a few accessory collections now.
