Here are a few bags by Deux Lux that will make your fall and winter outfits pop!

Asymmetrical Zip Bag ($68) I adore the green colour, so pretty and can work for either Fall or Spring. This one is also available in a pretty navy blue and brown.

Studded Hobo ($68) Similar to other studded bags on the market today but this won’t set you back too much, plus it’s cute!

Stitched Seamed Satchel ($68) This is a great looking shoulder and cross body bag. The wine colour is pretty and is in tune with the purple trend. It also comes in harbor (seagreen), black and a medium brown.

Ruffle Satchel ($68) If you want to dive into the ‘texture’ trend this season, this bag is perfect. The ruffles on the front are quite ‘frilly’ but not too out there. The silver colour ispretty too and a great neutral. Other shades include black, navy and pale pink.

Stylish Fall Bags Under $100

All is not lost however because there’s a happy medium and that’s where Bolzano handbags come in. I’ve featured the Bolzano Fiore Satchel previously and it is still quite a fabulous looking bags. Whilst browsing through their new Fall arrivals, two other bags caught my eye not only because of how they look but because they’re available in one of this season’s top shades, red.

The Bolzano Corsetto Satchel ($290) and Fiore Shoulder Bag ($257) are available in two distinct shades of red. If you’re looking for a lipstick red, the Corsetto Satchel is for you. If you love more of a wine or deep burgundy red, the Fiore Shoulder Bag would be a great choice.

The Corsetto Satchel is a statement making bag with it’s ample use of gold hardware with the Bolzano signature “B”. I really like the contrast of red lambskin and crocodile embossed leather strap across the middle.  If the red doesn’t appeal to you, it’s also available in green and beige.

As for the Fiore Shoulder Bag, this is a great tote to use for the office. It’ll show off your taste and style without overwhelming your outfit or looking gaudy. This one is also trimmed with signature gold hardware and the crocodile embossed leather, giving it an exotic touch. For a more classic look, it’s also available in black.

Bolzano Does Red

The Bulga Brera Tote ($465) is a lovely bag that you can use for the office or as an every day bag. The structure is classic and it measures 11″H x 16″L x 6″D. The colour of a pebbled leather is a rich shade of orange, a bold shade that will look amazing with this season’s outfits. The orange is complemented by gold hardware and the braided zipper pull is a nice detail.

This violet coloured Jerome Dreyfuss Suede Billy Bag ($908) is a wonderful way to infuse this season’s purple trend into your handbag arsenal. The colour is bright, bold and will easily cheer up those cold, grey days ahead.  It measures a roomy 18″H x 16″L x 8″D and features strap details along the front.

This lady like MCM Crocodile Embossed Calfskin Satchel ($970) would be a wonderful bag to use for work. It’ll fit just about anything! The pink isn’t something you see every day but it can be worked into an outfit by wearing neutrals and making it your accent colour.  See the cute little wristlet next to it? It’s included! The MCM Amazoness East/West Shoulder Bag ($880) is a standout bag, especially in this saturated pink shade. If you’re looking for a bag to use in the evenings or if you don’t have much to carry during the day this would would be a perfect choice. It will definitely dress up your outfits. It reminds me a lot of the Chanel 2.55 flap bag at a lower price point of course.

New Bags from MCM Mode Creation Munich

If you think carrying around a purple bag isn’t for you, please reconsider! Purple is a beautiful colour and comes in all sorts of different shades from deep dark almost black purples to pretty plums almost magentas.

All the handbags above have a few things in common; rich, saturated shades of purple, luxurious leathers, ample slouchy factor and of course, more than enough room to hold everything you’ll possibly need.   The first two bags do double duty as a shoulder bag and as a satchel – love me a versatile bag!  The third bag has a bit of a punky vibe thanks to the oversized gold studs. As you know, all variations of purple will be huge this Fall so definitely consider adding a deep, dark purple or a more vibrant shade to your bag collection. A Hazy Shade of Purple

The Schuler & Sons’ Dog-Eared Bag ($118) is a wonderful shade of toasted-coffee. The soft and supple full grain leather is pin-tucked all over to give it a bit of character. It’s a roomy 15.5″H x 24.5″W x 2.5″D and fully lined in cotton fabric. You can wear this on your shoulder, on the crook of your or use the detachable strap and wear it messenger style.

The style of this bag, a hobo, is incredibly stylish and classic. It won’t go out of style and the brown colour will go with just about everything you can put together. Schuler & Sons’ Dog Eared Bag

For Fall, Dautore handbags are not only gorgeous to look at but their rich hues and details are in tune with the seasons top trends.

As you can see Dautore offers handbags made from smooth and supple leathers in fabulous shades but with minimal to no hardware. This is wonderful if you’re tired of carrying around heavy bags.  Each bag is handmade in Brazil so no two are exactly alike. The green linking strap hobo is one I would choose, the colour is quite pretty and I love the detail of the strap. Fall for Dautore Handbags

For Fall the Be & D collection does not disappoint. Their iconic studded Garbo satchel is quite popular but there are two other gorgeous bags that caught my eye.

The first thing I noticed about the Be&D Cosette Leather Hobo ($995) is the chain and leather shoulder strap, it gives it just the right touch of  edge to an otherwise simple hobo. The hand-stitched leather is Italian lambskin and if you’ve never touched lambskin, it is ridiculously soft. The colour is called Bordeaux Plush, which is a rich reddish brown shade. It’s complemented beautifully by gunmetal hardware throughout.

Another beauty from Be&D is the Woodstock Hobo ($995). The colour of this bag, Rush Sand, is amazing and would work very well for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.  The leather is light-weight and the hobo has fun buckle accents and studded details that keep it from another boring hobo.

Fall for Be & D

An Embellished, Standout Handbag

I’m sure you’ve already seen this must-have trend everywhere! If you want to incorporate a new bag into your collection, this is the time to get a fun bag.  Look for bags with lots of hardware from studs to zippers. If that’s not your thing, check out bags with girly trimmings like ruffles, fringe and tassels.  Maybe you’d rather get a little wild? Look for bags with animal prints or skins. Or you can really draw all eyes on you when you pick up a bag in a hot shade like red or shiny metallic. This lovely black and white stingray pattern clutch will look amazing with a little black dress for evenings and will look equally chic with jeans and a flirty top. It’s made of leather, fabric and decorated with dark iron hardware and brooches.

David Alexander Armor Handbag ($300)  -  Quilting, a gorgeous red shade and it’s decorated with studs?! It also  incorporates most of the trends I mentioned without going overboard. Love it! It also comes in black, purple (another fab shade!) and white.

The key to carrying these “Hey, look at me!” bags is to keep the rest of your outfit streamlined. Let your bag do all the work and let it be the one to give off all the attitude.

Bold and Eye Catching Jewelry

The trend of high-impact and statement jewelry is back but this time there’s even more drama!  Look for pieces that reflect the top trends. Whether it be lots of hardware or chains, big gems or accessories that incorporate the top fall colours of grey, red and purple. After looking at all these fabulous handbags and accessories, I’m even more excited for Fall! Just remember, wear one trend at a time. The key is to not pile it on but to find a way to introduce some of the trends into your existing wardrobe or outfits.  If you’re going to get a trendy item, make sure it’s something that has classic features and simple lines that can transition into other seasons and will have longevity in your everyday style.
