There are many names for this trend, the walking short, the city short, the Bermuda short…whatever it is. I’ve given in. I have one pair. Count ‘em. One. I may have only been 6 years old when MC Hammer was at the height of his fame, but I knew what Hammer pants were. I also know, today, that if you wear them outside of the house you may get a few stares. So, what the heck was Michael Kors thinking?

Mustard yellow is one of the hot colors right now, but it’s a tricky one to wear! It’s not flattering on everyone’s complexions and frankly, can be overwhelming!

I love the inspiration that a fresh new group of colors brings for the new season.  Pantone is the granddaddy of the color reports & I love what they’re offering for spring 2007.

A few years ago, everyone rushed out and bought a white purse for the warmer months. But seeing that the fashion trends this year are soft beiges and browns, the accessories seem to be feeding on that. Purses are just about every color imaginable with very few white varieties. My favorite at the moment seems to every shade of coffee and they have to be relatively roomy.
