I have been obsessed with fingerless gloves ever since I saw Carrie Bradshaw wear a pair of tiny fingerless motorcycle gloves with open knuckles with a party dress in Sex & The City many many years ago. I love fingerless gloves in long and short styles for casual and dressy outfits and I am so excited that they are one of the hottest accessories this Fall. When I first fell in love with them they were difficult to find in stores, so I actually knitted a pair of creme-colored cabled fingerless gloves that went halfway up my forearm. Now it’s exciting to see that they are popping up everywhere in new and fun styles!

I’m definitely keeping my eye out for some of my favorite new styles of fingerless gloves and will be posting about them all season. I love them long, short, mid-length, layered, leather, cashmere, lace, patterned, striped, colored, cabled, buttoned, the possibilities are endless! Fingerless gloves are functional and sexy and I am so excited to see what the designers come up with this Fall!

This is currently my favorite pair that work so perfectly with the rocker chic style, but there are just so many fabulous options…

Is Something Chewing On Your Ankle

Shoes should inspire delight, envy, confidence and sex appeal.

In my opinion, they should not make the average person on the street wonder if your shoes are trying to knaw off your ankles.

Example:

There are lots of great ways to wear animal prints.

Wedges can be an easier way to wear heels for some women.

Peep-toes can add a little dash of sex appeal to a plainer shoe.

These leopard-print wedges from Giuseppe Zanotti are none of the above. I’m sure someone, somewhere can pull them off – but they remind me of part of a “cave woman” costume for Halloween.

Until recently I was not sure how I felt about zebra print shoes and handbags. This weekend I went shopping with some friends. We pick up some white pencil skirts and pink ruffled tops, but were not sure what to wear with the skirt. I mentioned some black pumps or something very simple to make sure not to detract from the outfit. However, I was sorely mistaken.

One of my friends suggested zebra print pumps. These Zebra Nero Blanco Pumps from Giuseppe Zanotti would be a great choice with any bright top and skirt, like the ones we found. They have a 4 1/2 inch heel and a satin upper with a bit of of a platform sole. I particularly adore the red heel. They are $440 from Zappos.com.

I think I’ve found the perfect sandal. After looking all this weekend, came across these Giuseppe Zanotti Green Patent Buckle Thong Sandals at Bluefly.com.

They are bright, fun, and luxurious. I can never have enough sandals in my closet. It only gives me and excuse to get a pedicure.

These thongs are green, yellow and red so you’ll get a splash of several different colors.

I hate wearing good thongs so much that I feel the gravel by the time I realize I need a new pair. That’s why you buy a pair of sandals with a small heel on them, like these! They have a three and one eighth inch heel, so the heel will catch all that nasty dirt and gravel you walk all over. Great news!
