I have more gorgeous headbands to share with you!  If you love hair accessories, then this is definitely the year for you because creative designers are popping up everywhere with fabulous new headband lines.

Leighton Meester wore the most gorgeous grecian Bottega Veneta gown to the Emmy’s last night, and I happen to think that it would be the perfect wedding dress. I saw her earlier on someone’s worst-dressed list, but that someone shall remain nameless, because a)I’m against the whole idea of worst-dressed lists, it’s just not nice, and 2)you can’t hate her because she’s the queen B! Well, fabulously talented designer Anna Sui has created a line exclusively for Target based on her favourite (and mine too!) show Gossip Girl. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll notice the clothing line consists of styles that are inspired by the characters on the show – Serena, Blair, Jenny and Vanessa.

The new season of CW’s hit show, Gossip Girl premieres tonight and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m a big fan of the show not only for the crazy drama-filled episodes, but for the fabulous clothing, shoes and accessories the characters are privileged to wear.

As previously discussed, one of the top trends for fall is the Tough Rocker Chic vibe. Jennifer Behr is one of the genius hair accessories designers who is responsible for the gorgeous pieces that Blair Waldorf wears on Gossip Girl.  She has really re-invented the headband by creating unique pieces that look sophisticated and stylish.
I would love to post about Jennifer Behr’s absolutely beautiful handmade headbands everyday, but at around $200 per piece I realize that unless you have the wealth of a character on Gossip Girl, you probably won’t be stocking up on these.  These hair accessories are definitely designed to be paired with elegant outfits for special occasions.

When it comes to sunglasses, are you more of Jessica’s Szohr’s style or Leighton Meester’s style?  Recently the Gossip Girl real-life best buds were spotted out doing some boutique shopping in Nolita.  I think both of their personal styles are expressed in their sunglasses.
