There was no doubt in my mind that Canadian label Pink Tartan was going to be the headliner of LG Toronto Fashion Week. The audience continued to rush in scrambling to find a spot, tensions were rising as showtime was fast approaching. Eventually they had to close the doors and people were standing at the sides. The media quickly became intimate with their competition as cameras were warming up. Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed with the end result.

It looks like Spring & Summer accessories for 2010 are going to be filled with candy-colored fun – at least according to New York Fashion Week!
Bold, chunky accessories with simple lines seem to be the order of the day so far. Minty green, butter yellow and seafoam are all showing up as popular color picks for next spring and summer.

Harajuku Lovers is Gwen Stefani’s diffusion fashion line, which means that it’s a lot more affordable than her other line, L.A.M.B. To be truthful, I don’t always love a lot of the line, it’s a little too teenager-y for me, but this Cuddle bag is adorably tongue-in-cheek and totally practical. And it’s sale price makes affordable into cheap, which is always a bonus.
