Loving Our Hair: Without Sulfates

I think all of us know we are supposed to avoid sulfates, but don’t really know why.
Basically, they are bad for our hair in every way possible: They dry it out, and can fade or even strip color from color-treated hair. It also can remove even the best Keratin treatment (Keratin and sulfates are enemies), and leave any hair frizzy if you use it enough.
Why am I talking about this now? Because I think people are getting so used to nay-saying “buzz” words that some are avoiding sulfate-free products just on principle.

Dry Shampoo Savior

You could say I lucked out in the hair department, if by “lucked out” you love hair that is dry at the ends, oily at the scalp, unwilling and unable to sustain a wave, and far too feral to be plain, straight and easy to manage. Basically, a schizophrenic challenge.
