We survived Halloween, and it’s time to start to think about the next batch of holidays!
I’m always looking for Christmas season styles, mostly because it seems from November through December, there’s parties every single night.
We consulted Lona Vigi, the celebrity stylist for LiQWD hair products, and she said two looks she’s all about this season are the messy take on the classic chignon, and the modern pony. Here’s her tips on how to make them happen:
Classic Chignon (Messy Version)
This chic and sultry look is a modern take on the classic, a somewhat disheveled, looser version.

We find ourselves spending more and more on skincare and cosmetics to hide this sad truth, but the truth is the right hair style can make a WORLD of difference! Umberto Savone of Umberto Beverly Hills Salon has some great tips to put us on the right route:

Do you have a round face and are unsure what the smartest look for your shape is?
According to my friend, celebrity hair stylist and salon owner Paul Labrecque, the most important thing to remember is that round faces need height and to embrace top layers.
“It’s all about balance and proportion,” Paul says. This goes for the whole cut – front, back and sides.
Keep in mind that rounder faces are more suited to longer styles to help elongate or slim the face: And don’t be afraid to tell your stylist this!

You can pull your hair back with a scrunchy, but would it look this good? Not if they are the ones that I have been using. But then again, I simply use them for sleeping. My hair is rather long and I hate it getting into my face at night, so I use dollar store scrunchies. But if I wanted to go out, I think that I would choose something like this. A simple hairstyle that suddenly looks so much more sophisticated when you use the right accessories!
