If you were lucky enough to attend fashion week last season, you may have seen a whole bunch of…the same exact thing.
Top two hair trends for the fall, according to G. Mikel a senior stylist at Salon Luba in NJ, were slick updos, and natural, flowy hair –both up and down. Almost every show featured these two styles.
Which are, of course, polar opposites!

I’m all about chemical-free living.
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner is part of their Serious Colour Care line.
I’ve been trying to avoid products with sulfates in them, and Pureology is all nature. It also is great for keeping my hair feeling fresh and vibrant, which is super important when you go to posh events every night! If you have keratin treatments done, this won’t pull out the process – an obvious added benefit.
All my favorite salons use this brand – another reason this is probably a must-have addition, and at quality price and value!

In case you haven’t noticed, I put my hair through a lot (in the name of journalism).
This often means – and requires – restorative masks, and the most recent one on my radar is WEN Re-Moist Hydrating Mask.
This is marketed to be an intensive hydrating treatment to moisturize stressed hair, and to use, you are supposed to appply it all over your hair (after shampooing) and let sit for a half hour. However, you cannot possibly leave it on too long – the longer you do, the better it works.
