Paris is the last of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, and quite often the most extreme and avant garde of the four.

A Scent by Issey Miyake

This month Issey Miyake launched his newest fragrance called A Scent. A Scent was inspired by the smell of the Japanese mountains and pays homage to the “poetry of minimalism”. The simplicity and minimalism is shown though the design of the bottle. It’s quite plain at first glance but the plainness is also striking. The clear and frosted glass and etched wording really hone in on the theme of minimalism.
The fragrance itself is described as a fresh, airy, green, citrusy floral. The scent incorporates the notes of lemon verbena, jasmine, hyacith blended with musk, galbanum, cedar and crystal moss.
