If you’ve ever been to Japan, then you understand the appreciation for socks and tights that exists in that country that does not exist in the U.S. Last time I was in Tokyo I stocked up on my foot- and legwear at the tons of stores that exclusively sell every type of socks, leggings, and tights that you can imagine. Now that I’m back in the states and don’t foresee a trip to Japan anytime soon, it’s a lot harder to find the unique and funky tights that I love.

Tokyo Style is a website operated by fellow socks- and leggings-connoisseur Nana that sells Japanese products online to U.S. customers! Nana’s selection of Japanese accessories are cute, funky, and unique, which is exactly what I am looking for but have had such a hard time finding in the U.S. She gives us all access to the street fashions of Harajuku with her selections. I love all of the patterned tights, thigh high stockings, colorful leggings, and flower-patterned hair accessories.

I received a sample of a pair of colorful leggings from Tokyo Style that I am loving! They are extra long so they can be scrunched at the ankle, which is a great style for Fall.

Tokyo Style Marble Leggings in Khaki Mix $52.70

Scrunched leggings like these with green, blue, orange, and khaki would look great with a solid-colored long oversized button-up or boyfriend cardigan and flats. They are super soft and comfortable!

Tokyo Style Marble Leggings in Purple Mix $52.70

Visit Tokyo Style online to get a little lesson in Harajuku-style kawaii accessorizing…

You might want to check out these bold and funky totes and purses from Tokyo Made!
They’re made in Tokyo, by designers MACBAG and Colorcult – with an interesting twist. The body of the purses are made from handmade African fabric. You can’t get much more multi-cultural than that…

One of my all-time favorite purses is made a from vintage Japanese silk, most likely from a kimono or obi.
But like most fabric purses, well loved and used for ten years – it’s showing it’s age. I tend to keep it for special occasions and most of the time, it hangs out on my shelf – looking pretty.
I perked up when I saw this gorgeous messenger bag from Tokyomade – the top flap of the bag is made from a 50 year old vintage silk obi:

Yum!
