Welcome back 1990! The Jelly Sandal has made it’s comeback! In the late 80s I lived in jellies. In the late 90s to even today it’s the flip-flop. Today, I’m trying my hardest to step out of the flip-flop. I may have met my match with these Tod’s Tasseled Rubber Sandals. Calling them Rubber Sandals is just the tactful way of calling them “jellies.”

I’m such a sucker for pretty sandals – especially if they have feminine details like these enameled flowers:
Soft leather flowers and bright, cheerful colors? Oh yes please:
I loved the butterfly detail on this shoe, but then I took a second look – it’s a jelly shoe:
I don’t know if it’s just bad memories from childhood, but I recall jelly shoes looked wonderful on the shelf, but always gave me terrible blisters. If I could get over the blisters to wear them more than once or twice, they seemed to fall apart really quickly.
