Leave it to Oscar de la Renta to create these eye catching jewels!  These necklaces are worthy for any fashionista and celebrity to wear.

Why do these necklaces work? They’re neutrals. The warm tones of browns, bronzes and black will accentuate outfits but they’ll also blend in beautifully. When wearing statement necklaces it’s best to keep your overall ensemble simple and streamlined. These would be great to wear with a suit for work or even a strapless dress for evenings.

Barbara Bui used lots of necklaces to make a big impact for her runway show:

Lanvin kept to their ultra-embellished aesthetic with their lush jewelry:

With everything from peacock feathers to sterling silver motifs, semi-precious stones to antiqued metal chains, these jewelry pieces are sure to appeal to the woman who likes a whole lot of look from her jewelry.

Loewe created chunky, studded chains for their runway show:

They also sent their models down the runway wearing black necklaces as well, but I love the combination of the different shades of warm brown and amber in particular.

Tribal Jewelry from Paris Fashion Week

Jewelry is usually exaggerated for the runway, it’s awfully hard to see a delicate little chain on a model’s neck from across a big runway – but these necklaces are definitely on the generous end…

Blugirl layered multiple necklaces in different shades, shapes and sizes:

I think this is going to be a great summery look – keeping the necklaces in the same color will keep them from overwhelming the rest of your outfit.

Luciano Soprani adorned their models with a combination of chunky, colored chains and heavily embellished beaded panels for their necklaces:

Les Copains went for the heavy metal look with some serious medallions on their models:

I’d suggest scaling the pendant down a little and you’ve got a great necklace for next spring!

They’re an easy, comfortable way to add a big statement with your jewelry, but are still very wearable.  Look for a bracelet with an opening, rather than one that slides over your hand – it’s easier for women with larger wrists to wear.
