I’ve already written about some of Christian Louboutin’s new mesh-detail shoes – but he’s not the only one getting into the sheer fun.  Dior, and Jimmy Choo both have mesh shoes for Fall 2009.

Of course, if you’re going to rock the mesh look, there is a time and a place for it…  In my neck of the woods, winter involves some serious snow and cold – which is just not so practical for high heeled mesh shoes!  Now if winter just means you don’t need to have the air conditioner on all the time – go ahead and have fun!

The Dior “Corset” bootie is made using kid leather with a lace upper, and is available in both brown and black.

The Jimmy Choo mesh bootie is made from a fishnet lace mesh, calfskin trim and embellished with silver studs.

And one more pick from Christian Louboutin…  The “Ambro” peep-toe pump comes in both black striped lace (shown here) or black leopard print lace, accented with patent calfskin.

I’m a bit disappointed that bags by Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Botkier, Dior and Miu Miu didn’t make the list!  I do respect this selection because each bag is stylish and has details to make it stand out from the rest.  Although most of these bags are pretty expensive and quite dramatic, like the over $3K red Fendi and the Bottega Veneta, they’re still wearable, only if your outfit is sleek and simple. In other words, let your bag do all the talking! The other bags on the list lean towards the classic side and would make worthy investments.

If it were me and these were my only choices, I’d choose the Gucci Icon Bit Shoulder Bag. It’s simple enough to use every day but stylish enough to not get boring.

Oh so shiny! I love patent leather anything. Well, maybe not from head to toe, but I do have several pairs of patent leather heels and when I do need to wear heels I will choose the patent leather heels over the matte heels anyway. So, it’s no wonder I would choose (or recommend) this brown patent leather tote from Jimmy Choo either. It has suede trim with moleskin lining with zip, patch pockets and amazing design details from top to bottom. It measures 14½’ inches at wide by 9¼ inches’ tall at the center by 7½” deep. Jimmy Choo has quite the assortment of classic as well as bold statement making bags to choose from. I was browsing through his Fall handbag collection and came across this jaw dropping bag.

The Jimmy Choo Leopard Print Patent Hobo is in a word, stunning. The colour is a gorgeous bordeaux (think, dark wine red), this would be perfect for Fall. The cool leopard print on the patent calf leather isn’t at all gaudy or in-your-face. It’s subdued yet still quite eye-catching. The gold tone hardware is complements the bordeaux colour well and it measures 16 1/10″H x 16 1/10″W x 4 3/10″D, so it’s big enough to hold just about anything you wish to carry around. Jimmy Choo Leopard Print Patent Hobo

This tote is at Overstock.com for $1499 (and was originally $1,995). The bag itself is leather (you would hope at that price…right?) 

It has an open top with an expandable zipper and an optional strap. It measures 11 inches high x 11.5 inches long x 2 inches deep. I’d probably take of the strap since hobo bags are all the rage this season.

They are super stylish! If you look closely, you’ll be able to see the really nice faux-stitch detailing along the arms of the shades. You’ll also notice the chic goldtone accents at the temples which are also accompanied by the cut-out on the frame near the lenses, which happen to be completely UV protected.
