Are you a fan of Kate Spade? Usually when I think of Kate Spade I think minimalistic, non-fussy handbags. In fact, one of the first designer handbags given to me was the ‘Sam’ bag which was your simple black nylon shoulder bag. For fall her bags have been turned up a notch or two. This time around we see a little more hardware, quilting and even patent leather!
Coney Island Lilia Tote ($355) Here’s a bag that will look fantastic year-round. This tote is made out of quilted nylon trimmed with patent leather and is roomy enough to fit just about …read more

Reading glasses are becoming a piece of fashion that makes women have a smart, sexy, and sophisticated look! It seems that nearly all adults over the age of 20 have to wear readers these days, so you might as well buy a more pricey pair that looks great.
I have to wear readers all day to avoid a headache from working on a computer, so it’s important that I find a pair that are cute and don’t make me look like a granny. I have a few favorite readers designers, and one of them is Kate Spade. You can find a …read more

Shimmering Jewelry from Kate Spade

I love Kate Spade’s new line of “Cortes” jewelry. It’s made with tiny little gold-plated round paillettes and almost reminds me of something a belly dancer would wear.
There is something so sensual about jewelry that shimmers and moves as you wear it – and with all the little paillettes, this jewelry is guaranteed to do that!
There is a triple-strand necklace, with strands of 24″, 20″ and 16″ lengths.
You can also get a four-strand bracelet, with dozens of teensy little circles.
And to top it off, matching earrings

Classic, Classic, Classic, Kate Spade

If you keep up with the Luxury section of Splendicity you know very well that I adore classic and traditional luxury items for their ability to transition from event to event and from season to season. One designer that thoroughly understands this concept, and has for nearly fifteen years, is Kate Spade.
Kate Spade, a midwestern born, Arizona educated, and New York employed girl understands these values because she saw these classic and traditional items were missing from the fashion industry after working in the industry for some time.
After discovering the lack of these items in the world of fashion, …read more
