Kenzo is a company that is always trying something new. They will take one their established fragrances and tweak it, make something new with the addition of notes, all new packaging, etc. It’s one of the reasons that I really enjoy writing about them – there’s always something interesting going on.
A good example is the new Kenzo Power Cologne for men. They started with the original Amber notes of Kenzo Power and followed in the tradition of the early 18th century colognes by opening with fresh, aromatic citrus notes.

As promised last week, I’ve got my review of FlowerByKenzo Essentielle Eau de Parfum. The fragrance is a powdery floral. It opens with a top note of Rosa Damasacena, which is also known as the Damask Rose….

Kenzo launched a new fragrance called FlowerbyKenzo Essentielle or the essence of FlowerbyKenzo. The fragrance was created by Francois Demachy and the bottles were designed by Serge Mansau. The bottle is so pretty – a thin, delicate swoop, like a graceful flower stem. The fragrance is a powdery floral with notes of Rosa Damascena, Absolute of Jasmine, Musks, Absolute of Vanilla, Black Pepper, Pink Berries, and Incense.
The Eau de Parfum will be available in 3 sizes 25ml/.8 oz for $58, 45 ml/1.5 oz for $75, and 75 ml/2.4 oz for $92. I will be reviewing the fragrance very soon.

Designed for travel, the Kenzo Ryoko line consists of small bean-shaped fragrance “pebbles,” that were designed by Industrial Designer Karim Rashid.
Ryoko is the Japanese word for travel. The Ryoko is small, “pocket size,” and it’s easy to take while flying – the airline-approved amount of liquid (less than 3 oz), just be sure to pack it in a bag that you are checking, not a carry on.
I got to try the KenzoAmour Ryoko, which is lucky for me, as it’s my all-time favorite scent. It’s also available in FlowerbyKenzo and L’eauparKenzo eau de parfums for women and L’eauparKenzo and Kenzo …read more
