UNscented Life: Charlie’s Soap

I have an old-azz, third-hand washing machine. I love the smell of Gain detergent, but for whatever reason, my clothes just don’t come clean. I don’t know if it’s the detergent, my machine, or what. ESPECIALLY my workout clothes made from synthetics like cool-max and duo-dry. So my next step is to try something totally different. I’ve found Charlie’s Soap, which is supposedly GREAT at cleaning stuff, works differently than detergent, but is totally unscented. Anybody tried it? Should I go green and give up my love of sweet-smelling towels?

Eco-friendly dryer sheets

I found these re-usable dryer sheets on Etsy, naturally…I have actually tried to DIY something similar using an old washcloth and some extra fragrance oil. With lavender essential oil I can imagine it’s 10x swankier.
I admit I love it when my clothes smell really nice. I haven’t gotten to put up a clothesline, which is my favorite scent, so this will just have to do.
