I’m a little late with jumping on the decorative belt bandwagon. For years I avoided wearing a decorative belt on top of my shirts – thinking that it would make my waist look larger… I finally tried some different styles out and love them – they actually accentuate my curves, instead of making me look bulky (as I had feared). Now that I’ve realized what belts can do – I’ve got some decisions to make!

cork belts?

I think this cork belt from Maison Martin Margiela looks really cool:
I have one little concern – how well is that layer of cork going to hold up as a belt? Yes, it’s laminated onto leather – but I’d hate to spend $245 and have the belt fall apart on me!
So does anyone have experiences with cork accessories?
