Last year when I went to NYC for two weeks, in order to pare down how heavy my bags can get I limited myself to only bringing items that were purple or black. Yes, I have a point. My point is that purple is basically a neutral color. You can wear it wear anything, and it looks good on almost everyone. Even green people. Or rather, especially green people. There’s nothing I like better than convertible clothing. Especially when it’s actually convertible, unlike some of those mass-produced American Apparel scarves or whatever that they sell as a scarf/tube top/miniskirt/necktie. I also really like wrap dresses. They are extremely figure forgiving in both the long and short term. In the short term, they look good on almost everyone, and in the long run, their adjustability means that if you put on a few pounds or lose a few, they still fit just as well.
