For the holiday season, there will be a number of fun party dresses we’ll either adore and admire, covet and conspire to get and ones that make you want to run in the opposite direction.  I came across this amazing Marchesa dress on the Bergdorf Goodman website and it just made me smile.

Even the model looks like she’s having a lot of fun, no?  This beautiful Crinkle Beaded Waist Dress ($2950) is absolutely stunning and looks as if it would so much fun to wear!   I really love the dramatic bell sleeves, the crinkled texture of the silk organza and of course the pretty embellished waist.  The materials are simple enough but the execution is stunning.

Naturally, the ‘average/real woman’ probably won’t have any reason to buy and wear this dress. However, if you’re part of that percentage that has the means and an occasion to wear something this over the top, all I can say is – I’m jealous!  And if you’re thinking about buying this for someone special (aren’t you generous!?) you can get it through the Bergdorf Goodman website. While you’re at it, I’d like it too!
