Taking cue from those pretty Prada heels I posted yesterday, I browsed around Bergdorf Goodman for a sleeker alternative. I came across these gorgeous Miu Miu heels and I just had to feature them today. Not only are they perfect candidates for Fall’s neutral/nude trend, they’re the kind of heels that will instantly make any woman feel sexier.
The Miu Miu Round Toe Lattice Pumps ($590) have the traditional platform pump shape but what makes it stand apart from the rest is the lovely shade of beige. It’s also available in black (Nero) if you prefer. The lattice detailing makes these …read more
Proenza Schouler High Heel Boots

Holy luxury boots, Batman! Check out these Proenza Schouler High Heel Boots. They are amazingly droolworthy.
The five and a half inch heel is brown and gold. Unlike many other heels, this heel is set a bit apart from the body of the boot. That is some serious boot love there. The platform measure one and one fourth inches long and includes three tiers (brown, black and orange). My favorite tier of them all is the orange tier. The orange really makes these outrageously expensive boots pop. The body of the boot is brown and black and laces up.
These boots are …read more
Joie Rockefella Fringe Boots

Boots, check. Neutral colors, check. Fall trend, check. Now that we have all our bases covered what else is there to say about these Joie Rockefella Fringe Boots? Well, aside from the fact that they are quintessentially Fall 2009, they are fabulously luxurious and fun.
These boots make me want to buy some uber skinny jeans, a long tee and rock some ridiculously large chunky jewelry on my next evening out with friends. The suede isn’t too daunting (unlike some of the shiny leather and studs that are out there this season) and the heel isn’t too high (it is three …read more
Halston Cluny Cutout Boots

I am slowing falling love with boots for this Fall season. I found my dream pair of boots, these Christian Louboutin Velours Scrunch Boot. They’re pretty darn amazing and need little to no explanation as to why I love them. These Halston Cluny Cut Out Boots though, need some explanation.
Aren’t boots made to keep you warm? Not to cool you off a la sandals or even some heels? The side zip fastening with open back with buckle fastening straps just confuse me, but to be honest I take fashion for what it is. I’m not like Malvin from Project Runway …read more

7 For All Mankind: Footwear Fall 2009

7 For All Mankind entered the world of footwear in the summer of 2008 amid much fanfare, but the collection wasn’t as fabulous as I expected. The flats and the sandals were all a tad bit plain and looked like shoes that I could pick up at any other fine retailer or even Payless. However, I have to admit, the company’s Fall 2009 Collection does not disappoint. The boots have the added detail that luxury fashionistas are looking for and the flats are quite original. Even the Fall wedge sandals are fun.
Look at these Eden Ankle Boots with a 4 …read more
Neiman Marcus Last Call Finds: Summer Shoes

Cardigans and sandals. Those are my fashion obsessions. This summer you might be able to add dresses, but that’s an underlined, italicized and bold might. The verdict is still out on my dress obsession, but shoes are a definite yes. So, knowing that designer shoes are up to 75% off during Neiman Marcus’s Last Call sale is a very, very, very good thing. It’s just a very, very good thing Neiman Marcus has not built a Last Call store near me yet. I would live there.
Throughout the summer we’ve talked about a lot of shoes, from pumps (because they’re always …read more
Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots

I stil haven’t fallen in love with the ankle boot. They remind me of something I would wear when I was in second grade. However, I could definitely fall in love with the trend if I could wear the Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots.
Look at that fabulous pattern. It’s a black demi-sheer lace-effect with the signature red soles and 4inch heels. With the sheer material of the boot you’ll have to get some awesome boot socks (yet another reason to buy boots…more fun socks!).
These are one of a kind boots, for sure. They aren’t the run of the mill luxury …read more

Tibi Twiggy T-Bar Sandals

If you look at pictures of my feet throughout the years you will sbe taken on an evolutionary adventure of fashion. In 1999, I was wearing rubber flip-flops from Old Navy, by 2006 I was wearing Teva flip-flops and last year I moved by way to more work appropriate leather flip-flops.
However, ten years is just too long to wear flip-flops and it’s about time to upgrade! That’s why, this year, I have finally invested in t-bar sandals. I have black ones and browns now, but after seeing these Tibi Twiggy T–bar sandals, I may have a pair of pink ones …read more
