This is definitely the type of heels you should wear with just about any outfit. The neutral colour will go with everything from jeans to party dresses.  One way to dress these down is to wear them with a simple outfit of jeans, a white tee, grey cardigan.  The heel measures 5″ but the hidden platform is at least 1″ so in reality it’s a wearable 4″.

The five and a half inch heel is brown and gold. Unlike many other heels, this heel is set a bit apart from the body of the boot. That is some serious boot love there.  The platform measure one and one fourth inches long and includes three tiers (brown, black and orange). My favorite tier of them all is the orange tier. The orange really makes these outrageously expensive boots pop.  The body of the boot is brown and black and laces up.

These boots are seriously fabulous. First on my list of things to do to wear these is to learn how to walk in five inch heels. Next would be save up an extreme amount of money, $1,364 for these shoes. These are a serious dream purchase. So, ladies, the holidays are quickly approaching. Put these on your list!

These boots make me want to buy some uber skinny jeans, a long tee and rock some ridiculously large chunky jewelry on my next evening out with friends. The suede isn’t too daunting (unlike some of the shiny leather and studs that are out there this season) and the heel isn’t too high (it is three and three fourths inches high) and is self covered with the fringe which is the center piece for the trendy boot. The boots are $395 at Sak’s Fifth Avenue (that’s about $200 cheaper than the leather ones that you’ll find..woop woop!).

Aren’t boots made to keep you warm? Not to cool you off a la sandals or even some heels? The side zip fastening with open back with buckle fastening straps just confuse me, but to be honest I take fashion for what it is. I’m not like Malvin from Project Runway who needs to explore fashion and who needs to “understand fashion.” To be fair, his aesthetic did get him eliminated. If it’s pretty and feels good I’ll wear it. But, this does not look good. It just looks weird.

I could get it if you wear some awesome leggings and want to show off the leggings, but other then that I think I’ll pass. If you’re more of a Malvin, though, then you can get these at Net-A-Porter for $995.

Halston Cluny Cutout Boots

In Rachel Zoe’s words, “I died” when I saw these Christian Louboutin Jeweled Platform Slingbacks from his fall collection. They’re are so insanely gorgeous that I can’t stop looking at them and dreaming up all sorts of fabulous outfit combinations… *sigh* Yes, they cost $2830 and that’s enough cash to get yourself a Chanel bag or a ballgown!  These shoes are a true work of art. The metallic cobalt blue spechio is adorned multicolored jewels and it’s a sky high at 5″.

You Can’t Go Wrong with Christian Louboutin

Look at these Eden Ankle Boots with a 4 inch heel. The detail of the leather is fantastic and that gold buckle almost makes me want to wear short jeans with them so I can show them off! They are $350.

The purple Astro flats look very comfortable and are elastic throughout. They also have the same snake print detailed pattern that the Eden boots have. These are $230.

And finally, these silver Jaycee wedges. Of course you need a winter pair of heels! Wear these with a funky sequined top and your fab 7 For All Mankind jeans. They have a 4 inch wedge heel with great studded detail.

Look at that fabulous pattern. It’s a black demi-sheer lace-effect with the signature red soles and 4inch heels. With the sheer material of the boot you’ll have to get some awesome boot socks (yet another reason to buy boots…more fun socks!).

These are one of a kind boots, for sure. They aren’t the run of the mill luxury fashion boots that will cost $300-500. These are a major splurge for even those of you that live and die by the designer label at $1,155 from Net-A-Porter. but, if you have to have them, then… they’re worth it!

Christian Louboutin Ankle Strap Heels

However, ten years is just too long to wear flip-flops and it’s about time to upgrade! That’s why, this year, I have finally invested in t-bar sandals. I have black ones and browns now, but after seeing these Tibi Twiggy T–bar sandals, I may have a pair of pink ones calling my closet home soon.
