Every summer over 100,000 theater-lovers travel to New York’s Central Park to experience the annual Shakespeare in the Park event. This year luxury sunglasses boutique ILORI selected designers Thakoon and Thierry Lasry to create extremely limited edition sunglasses collections to pair with the two plays that are featured. It’s a fun idea to pair an outdoor theater event with sunglasses inspired by the plays!
Twelfth Night, the first play in the festival, ran from June 10th to July 12th and was paired with Thakoon’s “Viola” line, which was named for the character in the play. As a tribute to the number …read more

Ever since Johnny’s Lanvin knock-off fiasco on The Fashion Show, I’ve been obsessed with Lanvin. Well, not to say I wasn’t before, but I’ve just started to keep an “eye” on the designs. Keeping an eye the designs brought my attention to these great sunglasses at ShopBop.
Take a look at these Paris Wouter Rounded Sunglasses with metallic accents. What I absolutely adore about these shades are the the gradient coloring of the brown on the rims and side pieces. You can get these glasses in a tortoiseshell or a black. They are currently $300.
Now, my mission is to find …read more

Watching Wimbledon tennis all this week sure did make me want to shop for snazzy English countryside fashion and even snazzier sunglasses. I mean, if you’re going to sit and watch a nearly six hour tennis match between Andy Roddick and Roger Federer you better have some great sunglasses, an even better polo shirt and some really good sunscreen right?
So, if I were to make an appearance at Wimbledon, I would be wearing this pair of Barton Perreira Breedlove Aviator Sunglasses from Neiman Marcus. Check out that pretty pink color of the lenses! You can also get a more tan …read more

A few weekends ago I was out in the sun with some friends, but I forgot my sunglasses in my car (that happened to be back at home). I made a mad dash for the nearest store that had sunglasses with some friends to find some good (and cheap sunglasses) for the day.
I ended up picking up some fabulous $12 orange sunglasses that now are permanently attached to my face during the drive home. These glasses are fun, they’re gaudy, glitzy, and glam, but not the type that I usually pick up. I’m usually that girl that gets the black …read more
Save Some Green On Earth Day!

Bluefly.com always has great random sales. Today, even though it is wrapping up, is no exception. They offered an additional 10% off all their merchandise, just because it was Earth Day!
So, instead of spending the green (which is never a good thing…) you could save it on some fabulous luxury items such as these Oliver Peoples Silver Matte Nora Rectangular Sunglasses. They’re named after a fabulous lady (the janitor at my office building!).
These are classic, large, and timeless so spending that $197 (today…or $219 on a regular day) is well worth it.

Emilio Pucci is known for his snazzy patterns and colors, which are perfect for bright sunny Spring and Summer days. But, what are you to do if you love your Pucci, but cannot fit in that pattern into every single outfit?
Well, the obvious answer is buy a new pair of sunglasses, but, if you’re like some people I know and only own a handful of sunglasses, then try out these Retro Two-Tone Sunglasses from eluxury.com.

My world almost came to a theoretical end early last night on my way out of my office. My sunglasses broke. It was their time, but it was sad. I almost shed a tear. Thing was, they were from Wal-Mart. I’m a Luxury Fashion blogger, you would think I would own a pair of nice sunglasses! Think again!
So, I started shopping online, and this weekend, I’m taking the time to go and buy some good Spring sunglasses. I haven’t decided which ones, but I think some of these would be good for me, and for everyone else come the new …read more
Mandy Moore Wears Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses

A few weeks ago there were two, count them two, Nicholas Sparks movies on at the same time. The Notebook and A Walk to Remember were on one evening and I had a hard time deciding which one to watch. In the end, I decided to watch A Walk to Remember because it always makes me cry, Shane West is a babe, and Mandy Moore is amazing. Unlike some other teen pop stars of the late 90s and early 200s she has gone relatively scandal free (aside from a break-up from Zack Braff maybe?).
Anyway, point being, she’s very …read more
