When shopping from Sephora, I often get so excited about the deals on some of my favorite makeup brands (Benefit, Clinique, NARS, Shiseido, Too Faced, etc.) that I forget to take a look at Sephora’s own brand.

Good News: Stila Cosmetics Is Alive!

If you were concerned about Stila going out of business, here is a bit of good news – the company is back in business. We originally discussed major concerns about the Stila’s status a few weeks ago when a splash page was all of a sudden posted up on their website that contained little information other than an ominous warning about potentially canceled orders.

There are reports over at Makeup Makes Me Happy that Stila Cosmetics may have gone under. Originally posted on Friday, one would have hoped that the ‘routine maintenance’ happening on their website would have been lifted and everything in the land of Stila would be back to normal again.
Unfortunately, it’s looking more and more like Stila is no more, with a warning that “Any orders that were place on 3/23/2009 – 3/24/2009 may be canceled.” on the website.
