Deep Blue/Green Makeup Tutorial Video

I’ll admit that I usually don’t like blue eye shadow. Though it looks great on some women, it always seems so 80s to me that I don’t venture too much into it. But recently, I saw this YouTube makeup tutorial featuring a pretty brunette named Blair. She does some amazing things with blue shadow for a stunning result.
Check out the video below.
The products that she uses on her eyes include:

Cliche cosmetics eye primer in light
Mac paint pot in delft
Mac eye shadow in too dolly
Mac pigment in deep blue/green
Mac eye shadow in yogurt
Mac fluidline in blacktrack
Mac kohl power eye liner in …read more

Sunkissed Look from Tarte

If you are trying to get a sunkissed look that is very natural, I recommend checking out the Park Avenue Princess shade of Tarte Mineral Powder Bronzer. It’s a light yellow-ish gold that is pearly and nice.
You can find this bronzer at Tarte Cosmetics directly, drugstore.com, Sephora and other retailers for $28.
The compact is really cute. It features a bronze faux-croc cover and a little gold chain, making it look like a mini handbag. Inside you will find a smooth bronzer powder that is really silky. But be careful with it. This bronzer is highly pigmented, so it’s easy to …read more

Think Pink!

Tuesday is National Pink Day. In honor of this holiday, which is just an excuse to get flirty I guess, let’s take a look at some fantastic pink makeup tutorials.
The first is a hot pink makeup tutorial and the eyes are so dramatic. The metamorphosis from before to after is really stunning.

The next video is one of my old favorites from Amy at askmemakeup I love the look of pink vintage pinup girl makeup. Definitely not a look that you can wear everyday, but certainly fun makeup for a party.

The last video is a romantic look that was created for …read more
