The Matt & Nat Tracy Marrow Hobo is a fabulous shoulder bag that encompasses everything a stylish every day handbag should have. It measures 12 1/2″H x 17″W x 8″D and is made out of vegan leather in white or black.  The interior lining is made of grey 100% recycled faux suede.  It features external magnetic pockets, and 2 external magnetic pockets on back. This lovely Matt & Nat satchel is called the Warhol ($325). Like the Tracy Marrow Hobo above, it’s also made of white vegan leather and 100% grey faux suede lining. The tone on tone stitching and silver and black hardware nicely complements the crisp white of the bag.  It’s a big bag measuring at 20.25″ L x 14.5″ H x 7.5″ W, so you’ll be able to fit quite a few things in it. This would make a great carry on bag when you’re jet-setting off to your next locale.

Summer Style with Matt & Nat

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Gathered Hobo is the newest bag from Marc Jacobs. The colour of the leather, Chamois, is a lovely neutral, almost a buttery yellow, shade that will go with just about any outfit from work to play.

It’s perfect for the spring and summer seasons. For fall and winter it would give a nice pop of colour to your darker ensembles. Ahh, just gorgeous!

It hangs beautifully on the shoulder and comes with a longer detachable shoulder strap should you wish to wear it cross-body style. Measuring 13 1/2″H x 23″W x 4″ D it’ll hold just about anything you want to carry with you.  Ahh, just gorgeous! Linea Pelle’s latest is the Alyssa Shoulder Bag, a very cute shoulder bag perfect for day and night. Made out of washed italian lambskin, the Alyssa is available in purple dawn, sand storm (creamy beige) and white cloud (shown above). It measures a generous 16 1/2″L x 11 1/2″H x 4″D, and has really cool leather laced details and woven leather rope trim around the bag. It closes with a magnetic snap and is lined the signature zebra print lining. It’s perfect for Spring and only $395 at the Linea Pelle official website.

The Kooba Blake Shoulder Tote looks amazing in this bright white wrinkled, patent leather. It features a seam detail throughout and zippered gusseted sides. The white leather is complemented with silver hardware and the buckle details at the handle are another nice touch.

If you’re not a fan of the brown shade of the Paul & Joe tote, the Mulberry Bayswater Cracked Tote would make a great black handbag for every day. This structured tote is made with glazed and cracked leather; giving it an awesome worn in feel.

This pink (Rosa) coloured nappa leather handbag by Versace reminds me of those gift bows you would find on presents. And essentially that is what you’re getting – a huge bow that happens to be attached to a dome shaped bag. The top handles have logo-engraved stud joints, the bow is a mix of smooth leather and top-stitched leather detailing. The Versace logo plate is the icing on this cake.

A lot of leather was used to make this ruffled flap top handbag by Marc Jacobs. Not only are there ruffles but hanging tassels and needlepoint top handles. If you take off the ruffles it’s quite a simple looking bag.

Versace has created a number of these rose petal detail leather handbags in different sizes and shades. This one is about 14″H x 15″W x 4 1/2″D and made of soft black nappa leather. It’s definitely a show stopper handbag.

This hobo by Christian Louboutin is a little more subdued compared to the previous handbags, The calf leather is accented with gold tone hardware and pleats. Along with the pleat details there are angled zippers running across the front of the bag. It doesn’t mention of these zippers are functional or merely ornamental but I’m thinking it’s the latter. Another ornament is the hanging CL logo tag which is actually pretty cute on it’s own.

Thomas Wylde El Dorado Shoulder Bag (eLuxury)

This Thomas Wylde shoulder bag is.. well, wild. The pebble-grain leather has a nice sheen and it measures 13″x 14.5″x 3.5″. The bag features, antique polished silver hardware, skull engraved studs, adjustable buckle attachments, whip-stitched detail at the edges of the opening, fringe at the front and sides with metal beads at the end. Whew! The quilted satin interior even has a barbed wire print just to add a little more oompf.

Ah, the pièce de résistance! This Dior bag is something to be behold. The intricate Japanese knot is the focal point on this bag. Not only is the knot something you’d want to examine up close but, there are two serpents at the handle which act as the ‘ring’ attachments. The rolled leather handle of the bag also feature twist tie details and if all that wasn’t enough, a Louis XVI tag with Christian Dior logo dangles from the strap.

As you’ve probably noticed all these details and embellishments come with a hefty price tag. It takes a lot of work and man-power to create these intricate and highly-detail oriented handbags.
