Missphit Rolls Out a Playful Fall Dress

I love this new tiered dress that Missphit just released! Wow, what a gorgeous item. The fit is in the smocking, it seems, because the dress has a special panel at the back to provide a great fit around your middle without binding or making you feel squeezed. If you’ll be throwing on a blazer or sweater this fall over this dress, you’ll be assured a smooth fit: very important!
The tiered style makes it look super short, but this dress should actually hit the lower thighs, according to Missphit’s fit guide. Those buttons at the bodice are in no danger …read more
It Doesn’t Get Easier Than This

I love this doubled-up top from Missphit! It’s a tunic-length top that combined a tank style bodice with a ruffled “skirt effect” down below. . . simple dressing at its finest. If I were to get this (debating!), I would wear it with a pair of black skinny jeans and super high heels from Kim Kardashian’s Shoe Dazzle line.
Even though I’m usually not a fan of the “twofer” designs, I think that Missphit did a great job with this piece. I didn’t think I’d say this, but I think I might pick it up and try it out for myself. …read more
Missphit Does a Great Plaid

Missphit has been pumping out some great plaid in their most recent collections, including the likes of this gorgeous tunic! A bold buffalo print is set off by a great wide belt, and it has an even scoop front and back that makes it extra special. Available in sizes 1-3X, it’s also done in a couple colors that are as bright as they are stylish.
I can’t decide which I like better, though: this scoop-neck top or the more frilly plaid dress. Erg, I just want all the plaid, please! I’m ready to stock up this season, and from what I …read more
Interesting Ruffle Tank from Missphit

I’m liking this blue ruffle top from Missphit more and more! It’s really bold, but I keep seeing plus ladies around who can pull it off. . . it’ll work really well when you need to balance the upper part of your body with the lower part, like for pear-shaped women! That bright blue only further amps things up. . . love love love.
Have you ever picked something out that was daring as a plus piece? This one might be mine, but I think it’s worth a shot at under $40!
Check it out at Missphit.
Missphit’s Newest Plaid Picks

Delicate lines of smocking, plenty of plaid in blue and white, and sleeveless for layering with cardis and long-sleeved button-downs (as well as over bikinis): I think we have a winner! I’ve been drooling over Missphit’s plaid all season long, and every time they add a new piece, I’m adding it to my shopping cart within minutes.
What do I like so much about this particular piece? It has a nice long appearance, but it’s not technically tunic-like, so you get the best of both worlds. Plus, all you need to do is throw on some red for an awesome …read more
Missphit Does Slimming Dresses

Missphit’s come out with an amazing new dress in a three-option colorway, and I’m simply drooling. It’s not cut like a plus dress at all, and yet it is available in sizes up to 3X. You can grab it in a nice raspberry color, a fresh green, or an ocean blue, and the top is an unlined chiffon fabric, which means you can layer away with tank tops of your choice.
This dress is also a perfect pick for slimming lines on the plus-size body. Instead of always grabbing something blousy or loose, you can get something that skims around the …read more
Missphit Features Fun Plaids

Mmmmm, Missphit. I just zipped over there after they were featured in the L.A. Times, and they’ve got a cool bonanza of plaids going on! While this piece has some amazing details like a ruffled front yoke and a shaped midsection, there are also more casual cowboy-plaid shirts that will go awesome with jeans. Now if only they produced clothes past 3X, I’m sure we’d all be tickled pink (and blue… and green).
Take a look, and have fun!
Missphit’s New Looks
I’m really enjoying my time over at Missphit, especially with all their new styles available. This cotton halter is (by far) my favorite, as it’s guaranteed to show just a little skin to keep cool, but nothing at all on the scandalous side. In a bright white and yellow print, it has totally stolen my heart! Must. . . have. . . amazing. . . halter. An elastic smocking band helps the waist part fit to your bod just right. Non-stretch fabric for a cool summer. Check it out.
