Moxsie is a great website for finding independent designers with extremely creative and passionate work.  I respect the Moxsie team’s ability to handpick up-and-coming designers from around the world who create unique merchandise from sunglasses to handbags to dresses.
I originally discovered Moxsie through the funky Cassius Eyewear collection that is being worn by celebrities like Kanye West and Rihanna.  Moxsie also has stylish and vividly colored sunglasses from independent designer Doubledown NYC.

Moxsie is an indie fashion and accessories shop with an urban twist.  In addition to their freshly-launched sneaker shop they’ve got collections from all over the world and feature some very unique pieces.

I love that each design in the Cassius Eyewear sunglasses line is named for a famous architect with styles like Corbu, Gehry, and Neimeyer.  Jason Ng started this retro-inspired New Zealand line in 2008 with  inspiration from simplistic styles of the ’60s and ’70s.  The sunglasses have been spotted on celebrities like Kanye West and Rihanna, but Ng intends to keep his designs exclusive by only producing 300 individually handcrafted frames of each style. The sunglasses have a unisex look with bold plastic frames in red, black, and white.
