Nanette Lepore Paradise Top

I may arrive early to appointments, but I am not an early arriver when it comes to news of fashion websites and what brands are available. Unless it is tweeted or sent via e-mail I am in the dark (should I be admitting that?). So, it was a great surprise to find out, a few weeks ago, that Piperlime has upgraded its stock to include not only shoes, but clothing (it’s also a bad thing for my Old Navy credit card that can be used at the site!).
I have my eyes on quite a few items, and one of those …read more

Mom Style: Nanette Lepore

By Guest Blogger Teresa Louise Johnson
The high fashion world is your playground, if you want it to be. The romantic in you, who also likes some ruffles to cover up her extra bits, won’t be able to resist the Colette Jacket & Bell Tolls Top by Nanette Lepore. The top portion of the outfit is the perfect example of how designer looks can work for moms, even the jacket alone with a belt and tee or tank underneath and jeans would work for a stylish but flattering look. The asymmetrical detail at the back adds that extra pizzazz wardrobe weary …read more

Nanette Lepore Up to 75% Off at Bluefly.com

Nanette Lepore has to be one of my favorite luxury fashion designers. Her clothing is quintessentially American and classically this era. The colors, the style, materials, the everything. I just want to wrap myself up in the clothing and die a happy fashionista after looking at her available designs. Too bad, most of the time even a tee is too expensive!
Problem solved! Bluefly.com, in an effort to free their crowded warehouses, has discounted their already bargain Nanette Lepore selections up to 75%! Score one for the bargain shopper, right? That means, you can purchase a pretty white summer dress (that …read more

Little Black Dresses for Her

Every woman knows the significance and timelessness of a little black dress. It’s something she can throw on no matter what the occasion, season or time of day and she’ll look fierce. Of course, there’s no rule about having more than one little black dress, so why not treat her to a new one?

Nanette Lepore Lemon Jacket

Just because the thermometers are heating up doesn’t mean it is time to put away the jackets! When it gets warm outside I almost get giddy about outerwear. Last year, I had to go on a trip to Detroit when it was pouring rain. What did I buy? A cute little rain coat.
Now, I’m planing a quick little trip to Houston and, it’s supposed to rain again. Yet another jacket is in order! This time though, it’s not just a rain coat, it’s this Nanette Lepore Lemon Ramie ‘Mandeville’ Jacket. It’s super fun and makes me want to dance and sing …read more

Nanette Lepore Jungle Fever Hat

Get something wild and foxy for the beach this year. How about something with a crazy zebra print? This Nanette Lepore bucket hat will be fantastic for when the weather warms up.
This hat is great for just about any age group whether they be more mature or younger. It’s also got a nice little bow on the side for added chicness.  The hat is 55% silk 45% linen so it’s definitely comfortable, which is always a bonus. Even more, this hat is actually on sale right now for $58 at RevolveClothing.

fashion week: nanette lepore

Some other blogger I fail to remember at this second says they like Elle.com’s runway coverage better, so I’m going to use them for a bit and see what I think.
One of my favorite stores here, Ambiance, has Nanette Lepore all over the place. It’s usually very sweet and feminine.

I dig those wide leg pants. They’re flowy, which I think Fabsugar or somewhere christened as the word of the season. The assymetrical top is cute, but I thought the whole one-shouldered thing was out for the moment? Did I miss a memo?

A bit on the details of this show. Colors: …read more
