Sky-high heels and lots of straps were the order of the day at New York Fashion Week yesterday!
Several designers sent their models down the runway wearing some seriously sexy footwear. Skinny heels and strappy sandals seem to be in order for the Spring & Summer 2010 season…
These electric blue sandals from Tibi are making me drool at the moment. I’m not sure if they’re leather or fabric, but the simple lines and feminine ties are going to be gorgeous next spring.
Narciso Rodriguez also went for skinny straps, and lots of them – but he’s gone for black leather instead of …read more

We’re down to the last three days of the Spring & Summer 2010 collections at New York Fashion Week – luckily, there are tons of amazing designers still to show…
And I’ve got some interesting accessories to share with you all today!
Not every designer is going with the candy-colored/sleek lines/chunky accessories trend. Some designers have been showing accessories with intricate details and softer colors.
Check out the woven and fringed purse in soft earth tones at Marc Jacobs:

Twice is a coincidence, three times is a trend. I have seen covered arms on the runway this season three times, once at Carolina Herrera, twice at Derek Lam and a third time at Carlos Miele. Carlos Miele is no stranger to the bolero and vest trend, though. He wholeheartedly embraced the trend during the Fall Winter 2009 Fashion Week of this past late Winter season.

With so many people coming in to town and moving from tent to tent, it sure would be nice to be able to wear your nice heels instead of ratty sneakers that you don’t mind getting dirty to fancy shows wouldn’t it?
Well, if your a celebrity, it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, you have to wear your heels. Because that’s what you do, you …read more

It looks like Spring & Summer accessories for 2010 are going to be filled with candy-colored fun – at least according to New York Fashion Week!
Bold, chunky accessories with simple lines seem to be the order of the day so far. Minty green, butter yellow and seafoam are all showing up as popular color picks for next spring and summer.
David Delfin sent his models down the runway with matching shoes, ties and eye makeup. While I don’t know if I’d wear the tie, his multi-colored platforms are sure cute!
At L.A.M.B. Gwen Stefani showed dark, strappy high heels but added color …read more
