Twice is a coincidence, three times is a trend. I have seen covered arms on the runway this season three times, once at Carolina Herrera, twice at Derek Lam and a third time at Carlos Miele. Carlos Miele is no stranger to the bolero and vest trend, though. He wholeheartedly embraced the trend during the Fall Winter 2009 Fashion Week of this past late Winter season.

Wenlan Chia and her Spring Summer 2010 Twinkle line lit up the runway yesterday at New York Fashion Week. I’m not going to lie, I had to look up who Twinkle was when I saw all the gushy tweets about the show came through during the show yesterday. The weather Gods sure haven’t shone brightly on New York City the past two days. Unlike some places in the country (ahem, south Texas), NYC can go a few days without the inclement weather.
