Betsey Johnson Octagonal Sunglasses

]]> I wrote a few months ago about my Top 5 Sunglasses Styles for Summer.  The Betsey Johson Octagonal Sunglasses are pretty amazing because they fit in four of the categories:  Bold Colors, Vintage, Unique Shape, and Oversized.  These oversized frames have a really unique design.  The resin frames are black with a beautiful marbled texture in a dark turquoise (they call it “jade”) at the edges of the lens and wrapping around the temple.  I’ve never seen this style before by another designer!  There is also the tiniest fuschia heart at the temple as a logo.

Betsey Johnson “Vintage” Oversized Sunglasses $85

Betsey Johnson is pretty new on the sunglasses scene so I haven’t had a lot of experience with her designs, but these are a definite hit!  This style is exactly keyed into what is fashionable right now.  I also completely love that these sunglasses are only $85.  At under $100 you’re not going to get complete UV protection (these only offer 60% UVA Protection and 95% UVB Protection) but they are great as a fashionable item.
