Wool-Blend Coats on Sale at Old Navy

Old Navy’s having a great plus-size sale right now! This jacket, pictured, is marked down from $82 to $41. It’s available in a bunch of different colors, up to 4X, and I’m certainly not objecting to the price tag. If you need something for the winter, you can grab this and last until spring… and if you grab it in black, all of your wintertime accessories will match.
This style jacket is a great way to add a tiny bit of definition to your silhouette, because it has a sash, and the oversized collar is very stylish. I’m definitely going to …read more

The other day we went over how to build a work wardrobe for less. Now let’s take a look at some workwear options from one of the stores I mentioned, Old Navy. To make things easy on shoppers, Old Navy has a section on their website called Wear to Work, and under this category you’ll find pretty much all the pieces you’ll need to assemble a stylish professional outfit.
When you have the basics, a Cotton Twill One Button Blazer ($39.50), the Cotton Twill Box Pleat Skirt ($29.50) and the Cotton Twill Wide Leg Trouser ($32). These three items are …read more

One of the stores I love to hit up for my Fall and Winter clothes is Old Navy. They often have a very good selection of classic outerwear as well as more trendy pieces at really affordable prices. What’s even better is if you get a chance to pick up a coat or blazer on sale and they’re always having some kind of sale going on so your chances are pretty high.
If you want to add to our build your outerwear collection, one of the first items you should get is a trench coat. The Belted Trench Coat ($49.50) will …read more
Old Navy “Perfect with Jeans” Shirt

Sometimes a girl needs a shirt or two that goes effortlessly with jeans: these Old Navy shirts just might be the ones! They have a slight masculine vibe, and they’re pretty no-nonsense, but that shaping is great.
If I styled this one up, I’d try to go with jeans and flat boots–maybe something equestrian–and some very low-key jewelry. It’s not necessary to load it on, but you’ve got to flatter those gorg fall colors.
This shirt is perfect for women who are looking for some structure in their wardrobe, but don’t want to be wearing work shirts all the time. This is …read more

Do you want a cute bag for Fall but don’t want to spend over $25? Well, head over to your nearest Old Navy to check out their new handbags for next season.
The Old Navy Faux Leather Hobo comes in this gorgeous plum shade appropriately called Plummy Mummy. It’s also available in very wearable shades such as Mole (brown), Chinchilla (shown below) and Black Jack (black, natch!). The shape is classic and with the faux leather you won’t have to worry about water spots or stains as much as you would with a real leather bag.
The size is terrific, too. It …read more

As a mom, sometimes it is just easier to throw on whatever doesn’t smell like baby puke and call it a day. Not everyone can interpret how to wear fashion on their unfamiliar mom bodies. Everything changes, falls, or expands, and it can be tough to figure out how to dress a mom body.

Old Navy Shopping Time: $10 Tank

I can’t go a week without making a stop at Old Navy. This week, I ran into the amazing Plus Pleated Top marked down to $10, and it’s currently still available in 2X-4X. I have this top, and it’s grown on me. It’s soft, it’s silky, and it looks great with every shrug you have in your closet. The straps are adjustable, with a button closure, and while it was a holiday-time offering, it looks awesome for spring.
I already wore mine twice this week, so I highly recommend you zip over to Old Navy and get something great– even if …read more
Lattice Top in 4X from Old Navy– $10

Are you a size 4X? I just found an amazing tank while browsing Old Navy’s plus-size section, and I wanted to let you know right away. This black tank has a great lattice-work design along the neckline, and it’s available in a soft charmeuse fabric.
I’m a little sad that I can’t find my size over at Old Navy clearance, but if I can pass the deal along to you, it’s almost as good.
If I were going to style this one up, I would wear it with a pair of cool city shorts for day (and maybe flats?) or a really …read more
What’s On Old Navy Clearance, Plus Edition

Old Navy always has amazing sales, but I’m usually most impressed post-summer. That being said, I had a peek today over at their clearance section, and I thought that things were looking pretty nice. They have a healthy selection of multicolored knit tops, complete with design details like puff sleeves, pearly buttons, and shaped bodices.
It was this piece that really impressed me. The floral pattern is daring for a plus piece, but the gray and green combo makes it look understated and sexy. It’s incredibly subtle for being so. . . tropical, and that’s great for beachside lounging. I’m not …read more
A Comfy Dress That Suits Your Figure

Old Navy calls this dress “effortlessly sophisticated,” and I am inclined to agree: available in both pink and blue, it’s available from size 16 and combines a buttoned-up silhouette with something much more comfortable. It’s like one of the most stylish shirt dresses you’ll ever wear. . . but with shape this time.
If we’re going to splash out on a few dresses for spring, why not make them them well-fitting and affordable? Say it with me: no more trapeze-style dresses! I think I’m going to buy mine in that vibrant pink color, and add a pair of jeweled sandals. . …read more
