I had the opportunity to try the Nude Cleansing Facial Oil and Nude Miracle Mask.  I have never cleansed with an oil before!  It seems a little counter-intuitive to add oil to your face while cleansing, but it is actually a really effective way to remove makeup and avoid drying out your face.  Foaming cleansers can easily cause dryness, so it was refreshing to try the oil.  It simultaneously cleanses, nourishes, and protects.

The Miracle Mask was also quite different from any mask that I’ve used before!  It was clear and gel-like instead of thick and muddy.  It felt tight after it set for five minutes, and my skin definitely felt extremely soft and moisturized when I washed it off with a warm towel.  The products both had a unique smell, which reminded me that I aren’t using a product full of chemicals and perfumes but was applying natural ingredients and bacteria to my skin.

Nude Advanced Probiotic Skincare

Cattier was established in 1968 as a line that valued alternative medicine and the use of clay-based products for medical and cosmetic use.  The Cattier Laboratory grew and developed over the years, but maintained priorities for the use of natural ingredients and environmentally-friendly processes.  In France it was originally recognized as an organic baby care line and was loved by “yummy mummies”, but now the Cattier line has established its presence in many areas in the organic skin care industry.  I think it’s a great idea to apply concepts for baby skin care products to adult skin care products!

I was given the opportunity to try the Cattier Nectar Eternal anti-age anti-wrinkle cream.  This organic moisturizer is thick and I liked it because it definitely lasted longer than many moisturizers I’ve used before.  Even many hours later my skin felt as if I had just applied the cream!  I’m in my late 20s so I’m too young to really worry about wrinkles, but I believe that it’s never too early to start using anti-age creams that contain nutrients for healthy skin.  The Nectar Eternal contains organic oils, vitamin E, and micro-alga extract to nourish and hydrate skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and to create a glowing complexion.

New Cattier Organic Anti-Age Cream

Enessa creator Michelle Ornstein was inspired by her family’s experiences with natural medicine in Israel to create a spa and skin care line in the United States that used these ancient ideas about nature and essential oils for health and healing.  Ornstein believes that “essential oils penetrate into the bloodstream, detoxifying and balancing the entire body.”  I love the growth of natural skin care lines lately, so I am impressed with the concept of essential oils as the base for an organic line.

Enessa Bio-Exfoliant

I am a huge fan of organic exfoliants, so I was excited to try the Bio-Exfoliant.  It is made from Dead Sea salts, seaweed, and flaxseeds with essential oil of Lemon, which creates a fabulous combination of texture and fragrance.  The gritty muddy exfoliant looks and smells exactly like Dead Sea mud, which definitely feels natural and healing as you scrub it into your skin.  I like the idea of a combination of an exfoliant with a mud mask for removal of dead skin cells and mild moisturizer.  I will definitely be continuing to use this!

Enessa Facial Nourishment in Rosewood

Enessa has three different types of facial nourishments for three skin types: Normal to Dry, Normal to Oily, and Dry.  Each type uses a specific essential oil to treat the skin.  Natural oils are a great way to moisturize skin by mimicking the human body’s mechanism for moisturizing.  The Rosewood oil has a strong fragrance and only a slightly greasy feel.  I would recommend only using the tiniest amount everyday to stay moisturized.
