Pamela Anderson’s Malibu fragrances launch this month. The line consists of two fragrances – a “night” scent called Malibu Night and the “day” scent, Malibu. I watched a clip of her describing the scents to Ellen, on the Ellen show, and she explained that the Malibu scent is a “beachy” scent and the Night Malibu is more “exotic” and the one to wear if you want to “seal the deal.”

What is new in the world of fragrance? Upcoming fragrance launches include a Balenciaga partnered with Coty fragranceto be released in early 2010.  Balenciaga CEO Isabelle Guichot had this to say about the venture, “Fragrance is something that was absolutely missing in the Balenciaga universe,” Guichot told WWD, “We want to extend the Balenciaga brand to a broader audience.” No word yet on what the fragrance will be called or what notes it will consist of.

Fashion Police sirens were blaring earlier this week when Pamela Anderson strutted her stuff down the “Red” Carpet for the grand opening for the Grand Opening of restaurant in New York City. I hate to admit it, but mine don’t look anything like this and that’s a shame. Maybe I could wear them late at night for a nightcap, when I’m are wrapped in a disgustingly expensive designer wrap and all is well with the world. But until then, I can dream.

And that is just one of the celebrity items that you can actually buy! I’m still looking over the inventory and I think that I’m above a few thousand so far. Hey, a girl can drool!
