I think this perfume is slightly misnamed: it evokes lightning for me so much more than thunder. It was a damp Friday and still chilly today, so although it’s winter I think it was appropriate. The earthy notes immediately come forth, with wood/bark notes in the background and then the wild mint. The patchouli adds to the earthiness, but the sum of these notes – bark, earth, patchouli – almost smells burned on me.
