To be truthful, I’m not super psyched about the shape of the heel, but I like the rest of the bootie, so I’ll take it as a matter of course. What I do like is the slightly above the ankle length and the totally badass straps. The loop pulls make them perfect, because not only do they look rad, but they will conform to fit the shape of your leg. I love the look of the exposed heel, but I feel a little insecure about the idea of exposing my sometimes ashy heels and not always perfect pedicure both at the same time. What do you think, ladies? California Magdesians is a shoe company, based in Los Angeles.  They’ve been creating quality shoes for almost 60 years – all them in the USA.  I think they would make a great choice for Michelle Obama – after all, what’s better than supporting craftspeople in her own country?
