Delicate lines of smocking, plenty of plaid in blue and white, and sleeveless for layering with cardis and long-sleeved button-downs (as well as over bikinis): I think we have a winner! I’m obsessed with smock tops, from the peasant variety all the way up to the resort chic type. One of my very favorite, all-around coolest shopping destination is Evans London, which is just under $50 and adds a little country flavor to your closet. I’m staying in Vermont right now, so maybe it’s all rubbing off on me!
