Prada Tessuto Ricamo Tote ($3695) – With all the sequins on this bag it would definitely weigh a ton if it were leather. However it’s made out of black nylon. It features floral embroidery that is embellished with sequins all over the front of the bag. The double handles are leather and a detachable shoulder strap is included. The size is generous at 16 1/2″H x 15″W x 7″D and the gold hardware definitely stands out. This bag is made to be shown off so if you get it, keep your outfits simple and streamlined.

Prada Velluto Jacquard Tote ($1450) – There are two versions of this bag, Ebano or “midnight” (shown above) and Ruggine L “rust” (almost like a dark red leopard print – not that cute I must say). I prefer the Ebano colour as it is not as ‘loud’ as the other. This tote is embellished with a floral print velvet jacquard pattern with nylon insets and leather trimming. It’s a large bag at 15″H x 14 3/4″W x 7″D so you won’t have to worry about not being able to take everything you “need” with you. Compared to the one above, this tote is a lot more versatile.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the prices, Quite a lot of money, yes? These Prada totes are both extravagant in price and design. However, I would much prefer if they were leather as I feel it would justify the pricing. Although both of the totes above remind me of a couple Valentino bags, it doesn’t detract from their overall style and luxuriousness.

This holiday season, if you want to treat yourself to a new handbag that will get you noticed, these two Prada bags are a great choice. They’re both available at Neiman Marcus.

Prada Fall Runway Bags

Prada Cervo Antik Bowler Bag (on sale $1199, originally $1695) is shown here in a fantastic blue-toned purple shade. The colour is luxe, saturated and would look amazing with your darker ensembles for fall and winter.  It’s quite large at 11H x 17L x 5.5D so it’s just right for those of you who love big bags.

I picture pairing this Prada bag with a little black dress, beige trench coat and some killer leopard print platform heels. The combination of the leopard print with purple is a nice alternative to red.  That’s the best thing about fashion, it’s fun!

Pretty In Purple Prada

Camel Ombré Deerskin Jeweled Tote (for a comparable bag look at the Jeweled Cervo Tote). This bag is $1596 in comparison to the $1995 you’ll pay for the Jeweled Cervo tote. The Camel Ombre Deerskin Jeweled Tote is  has gold hardware, a snap closure, four leather feet and measures 15” wide x 12” tall at center and 5” deep.

Tessuto Tote (same as this Tessuto tote for $1395) You can get this for$1036 now at Bluefly.com. Hurry though. You don’t want to miss the sale!

White Nylon Chain Link Large Tote (looks like the Cervo Lux Tote for $2,150) This bag isn’t leather, though. Of course, if you like the shape and the chain, then this may not be a bad option. It has a snap closure and measures 18” wide x 14” tall at center by 6¼” deep. The nylon version is $1,036.
