Some of my favorite makeup tutorials are from Amy B. of Ask Me Makeup. And though she hasn’t made any new YouTube videos in a year (come back Amy!), her YouTube channel is still very popular.  Here are two fabulous looks that I’m sure you will enjoy.

Every woman loves that absolutely perfect red lipstick – it can totally make your look. But did you know that the reds, blues and purple undertones are coming from bugs? Yep. Bugs. And the FDA wants cosmetic companies to start labeling their products with the actual colour source, instead of with “colour added” or “artifical colour”. What’s artificial about bugs??
The FDA announced recently that it has revised its label requirements for these color additives in response to reports of severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, to food containing cochineal extract and food and cosmetics containing carmine.
