Last time I was in Hawaii I was looking everywhere for a casual straw fedora that I could wear on the beach and then wear while walking around town afterwards.  I love the floppy sun hat, but if you have a big one then it looks a little silly when you try to wear it to an after beach event.  The straw fedora is the perfect hat to wear over messy beach hair.  You can wear it to the beach and then pair it with a cute cover-up to go shopping or have dinner after your day at the beach.

Sometimes when I’m heading to the beach I want to go with a completely casual look with shorts and a bikini and throw a baseball hat on over my messy hair.  The true baseball hats that are made for guys never really work for me.  I don’t have a team that I support so I feel weird wearing something with a team logo on it, and the hats just seem big and stiff.
