Opaque Stirrup Pantyhose $18

I basically have every color of the Shiny Stirrup Tights from American Apparel already, so I was excited that they came out with this opaque style that also has the stirrups, but has a matte finish.  The black opaque stirrups are a winter wardrobe staple!

Sheer Luxe Shapes Pantyhose $28

The sheer black, pearl, and navy tights come with a variety of different tiny shapes on them that include hearts (definitely my favorite!), pin dots, a vertical zig zag stripe, and an all-over square grid.  These are a great way to add a little personality to the regular black sheer tights that you would wear with a cocktail dress.

Opaque Pantyhose $14

Colored opaque pantyhose are easy and fashionable.  The American Apparel variety come in 23 different colors!!  When picking a color, don’t just choose a color that you like.  Pick something that goes with dresses and shoes that you have in your closet already and that look flattering on your legs.  I also love colored opaques because they are fun to layer under sheer patterned tights!

If you want to take a fashion risk with your tights this year, try two tones!  I think they are pretty fun, but they are definitely not for everyone.  American Apparel even offers them in neon varieties!

Eugenia Kim Hailey Headband in Coral $49.50 (reg. $99)

I have been eyeing this knotted silk headband since I first spotted a similar style on Gossip Girl last season.  It has multiple soft strands gathered and braided to create a beautiful piece in coral.  There is a thick elastic band at the bottom for a comfortable fit.

I also love this option on sale with a combination of patterned white and black with solid red silk strands.  These soft headbands look great with soft curls and a dressy look.  This season Eugenia Kim will release updates to this knotted Hailey style in new fabrics and colors.

I have to admit that I must stop by a Philosophy counter or display everytime I pass one.  I love the fun names, minimalist packaging, and delightful scents.  I just want to try everything!

This skincare set on sale contains four fabulous products that work together to provide an entire skincare routine.  The Purity Made Simple facial cleanser is a light daily cleanser that is perfect for removing makeup at the end of the day.  Shelter is a tinted sunscreen with SPF 30…tinted sunscreen is such a great idea!  The lightly bronzing sunscreen protects the skin from sun damage and provides a great base for applying color.  The Raspberry Sorbet shower gel is…doesn’t the name say it all?  The Big Skinny is one of the most popular body bronzers on the market because it has no smell and doesn’t leave streaks.  Moisturizing bronzers are a great way to have a healthy glow, but not expose your skin to harmful UV rays.

The floppy crocheted straw hats are my favorite this summer, so I’ve picked a few of my favorites.  This style will definitely be popular next summer as well so take advantage of the sale and stock up!

Fruit-Filled Hat $24.95 (reg. $38)

This is definitely one of my favorites of all of the straw sun hats that I have found this summer.  The description says the colors are from “plums, grapes, and pink grapefruits”…how delicious and beautiful at the same time!

Cross-Stitched Sunhat $19.95 (reg. $38)

This is a great design if you are interested in the crushable style.  These are great for throwing in your bag when you are spending the day outdoors.

Farm Bounty Hat $69.95 (reg. $108)

This is a soft woven straw hat with the cutest little woven primroses adorning the side.  This is a more expensive design, so it’s exciting to see that the price is more affordable with the sale!

Bath & Body Works Hand Soap Sale

I sure didn’t miss out! There were some great accessories (I’m talking $48 French Connection sunglasses and $25 Betsey Johnson earrings).  I just had to break down and buy some winter shoes. Outside it was nearly 102 degrees (we broke the record in San Antonio for most consecutive days above 100 today by the way…yikes!). There were a few options to choose from, including these few shoes:

These shoes, after the 2nd of August will go back up to the original price of $119 but I bought them for $80. Score!

Marc Jacobs Round Wayfarer in Dark Green $118 (reg. $330)

The Marc Jacobs sunglasses featured in the sale have thick colorful plastic frames and oversized lenses, which goes along with the styles that were popular this summer.  Many of the styles feature flashy embellishments along the temple sides with semi-precious stone mosaics, tortoise shell and gold buckles, and metal inlays.  I’m not usually a big fan of chunky pieces along the temple, but of course Marc Jacobs pulls it off.

A lot of these sunglasses styles are very unique and unlike any of the Marc Jacobs sunglasses that I saw at stores this season…
