In the past year, we have seen just about every interpretation imaginable of the bootie. There’s the peep-toe bootie, the buckle bootie, the cut out bootie, and this “sandal” bootie, which is basically a combination of all of the above.

I live in a part of California that has a fairly mild temperature this time of year. I’m a little spoiled weather-wise. This evening, when my daughter and I drove her boyfriend home, we were dressed in shorts and flip flops.
