I’m totally obsessed with bridesmaids dresses this week. I’m not sure why. I’ve never been one, and I let my girls pick out their own dresses, so I have never suffered the indignities of wearing an ugly bridesmaid dress, nor have I ever doled them out. Sarah Seven might be one of my new favorite up and coming bridalwear desgingers. I love her offbeat point of view, ethereal designs, and memorably titled dresses. I’m reserving complete and total adoration until I see the craftswomanship in the real world, but for the moment, she is at the top of a short list.

I’m totally crazy for short wedding gowns. I know they aren’t traditional, but the truth is that short styles are generally more flattery on us everyday sized girls.
